Police at Entebbe arrested two people on suspicion of participating in the murder Simon Onyait, a three year old in Wakiso District. According to the the mother of the child, Anna Kevin Akello, she left her son, with the stepfather Francis Onyango, to go to work on Wednesday and when she returned from work at about 6pm , the child was missing. They searched for the child and Onyait’s body was found later that evening at about 7pm in one of the rooms in an unfinished building occupied by one Kasawuli. Fortebet last Saturday donated 15 million Uganda shillings to the construction of a hospital in Hoima district. This money was handed over at the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of this hospital which will be named, St Mary's Specialized Children and Women's Hospital. The event took place at Bujumbura, where Fortebet chief executive manager, Bernard Rwakihembo together with the media manager, John Nanyumba handed over the cash. "We are happy to be part of the history in the making. This hospital is going to save so many Ugandans from traveling abroad for treatment because it is going to be highly specialized. In a bid to eliminate the escalating gun robbery and panga wielding gangs that has created uncomfort to the people Mukono municipality and its neighborhood, security agencies have vowed to take a tougher stance against the perpetrators of these crimes. During a joint security meeting held at Mukono district headquarters on Wednesday, which consisted of all local area chairpersons, PISO, GISO, DISO, Rdc, dpc and Kampala metropolitan leaders.
