Huawei ICT Academy of Uganda has today launched a new series of free online courses open to anyone interested in building an ICT career with internationally recognized certifications. The courses can be accessed via Huawei’s e-learning portal with no minimum education requirements for successful enrollment. Similar to the existing Huawei ICT Academy curriculum that has been in existence for over 3 years in Uganda at public universities like Makerere University, MUBS, Gulu, Muni, Kyambogo and many others. The new courses are free to all registered learners and come with a certificate of completion at the end of the course. Days after he publicly apologized for committing adultery with a reverend’s wife, former Anglican Church of Uganda Archbishop Stanley Ntagali is being asked to pay Shs530m in damages and legal costs or risk being dragged to court. The newly elected Goma division youth Councillor Shanon Mubuuke was found dead in her rented room in Ntinda zone in Goma division Mukono municipality, at 1 am. Residents suspected that the deceased might have slipped in the bathroom and got complications with her seven months pregnancy thus to her demise. Muyimbwa Charles, a neighbor narrated to us that they last heard councillor shanon talking on the phone while in the bathroom.
