Entebbe International Airport has experienced a notable increase in passenger traffic, according to the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA). In April 2023, the airport welcomed a total of 127,283 passengers, averaging around 4,242 passengers per day. This figure represents a growth compared to April 2022, which saw 122,341 passengers, averaging around 4,078 passengers per day. Vianney M. Luggya, the UCAA Spokesman, provided additional insights into the airport’s performance. He revealed that there were 62,413 arrivals and 64,870 departures at Entebbe International Airport during April 2023.
