By Elite News Reporter The  General Court Martial has charged four Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) soldiers with the murder of Benon Nsimenta, a lay reader who was shot dead in the wee hours of June 24 at Hima, in Kasese District. Nsimenta’s widow, Allen Musimenta, told  the media on June 24 that she was with her husband riding on his motorcycle at around 7:00Am heading to their garden in Kanamba village, Karusandara sub-county, when they met soldiers at Karungibati along Hima-Kasese road, one of whom shot her husband at close range, killing him instantly. The warning came after Chinese researchers discovered a new type of swine flu that can infect humans and has the potential to cause a future pandemic, according to a study released on Monday. The disease, which researchers called the G4 virus, is genetically descended from the H1N1 swine flu that caused a global pandemic in 2009. Jackson Bell Tushabe,61, who passed away on Tuesday morning, at Nakasero Hospital, Kampala. It is not yet clear what he succumbed to but he had been recently hospitalized and some family sources reveal that he had been battling cancer for a long time. Brig. This follows completion of Total Oil's acquisition of 33.334 percent of Tullow Oil's stake, thus paving way for the French oil giant to own a 66.7 percent of upstream stake in the project. Officials from the Ministry revealed that 4 of the confirmed cases are among 1,784 cases tested from Points of Entry, while 7 are among 546 samples of alerts and contacts and that  the Total COVID-19 recoveries are  808.
