The case was filed by Prof. Karmali and UIA at Mukono High Court on December 9, last year. Kirumira claims he is the registered proprietor of the Kibanja in Namanve Industrial Park but the government and a prominent local investor say he acquired it illegally. Pope Francis has prayed for the victims of an attack on a Nigerian churchin which at least 25 worshippers were killed by gunmen. A Vatican statement said he had learned of the deaths of dozens of people. The assault took place in the southern town of Owo, in Ondo state.
