‘Entebbe NRM Chairman Was Not Shot Dead By Army-’ Police

By Our Reporter The Uganda Police have refuted allegations that the National Resistance Movement (NRM) chairman who died on Tuesday as a result of gunshot wounds was shot by the army. Eric Kyeyune, who was a boda-boda rider and NRM chairman for Kitubulu, died after the army and police shot bullets amongst protesters in Entebbe municipality, who were protesting against resulst announced by the Electoral Commission which indicated that Fabrice Rulinda, an independent candidate, had trounced  Democratic Party candidate Vincent Kayanja DePaul. The latest victim of the deadly virus is Makindye Division Resident District Commissioner  (RDC) Ibrahim Kagolola, who passed away on Saturday. By Our Reporter Untold fear has engulfed the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Secretariat at Plot 11 Kyadondo Road, after two Staff tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19) on Wednesday afternoon. The CEC, which sat at State House Entebbe, approved the much awaited party election Roadmap and adopted lining up behind the candidates as a mode of voting.
