Aspiring Mukono LC 5 Chairman Hajji Ssemakula Vows To Give People Clean Water, Eelctricity

Hajji Haruna Ssemakula, a renowned businessman who is the proprietor of Hill Mineral Water,  has vowed to ensure that residents in Mukono District get clean and safe water, electricity and better roads.

Hajji Ssemakula, who is vying for the Mukono District LC V Chairperson seat in the 2021 general election, has revealed that he is  ready to construct 62 boreholes, ensure roads and other infrastructure are improved to acceptable standards, on top of helping all families in villages around Mukono to have access to electricity.  

It should be noted that although he has since decided to join elective politics, Hajji Ssemakula is not only the proprietor of Hill Water Ltd, one of the leading mineral water brands in Uganda, but he is also a successful large scale farmer and real estate mogul.

Ssemakula, who intends to contest the Mukono LC 5 seat on the National Resistance Movement (NRM) ticket,  says that; “I have not come to look for a job but to help people of Mukono get good services such as electricity, water and other basic services that the current leaders are not availing to the people yet they have the ability to do so by virtue  of the offices they hold.”

Hajji Ssemakula, who is the current NRM  Vice Chairperson Mukono District, has vowed to oust the incumbent Andrew Senyonga, who he says has failed miserably when it comes to service delivery in Mukono.
