Gregory Mugisha Muntu’s Alliance for National Transformation party after he was rejected by legislator Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine’s National Unity Platform (NUP). It should be noted that Chameleone was denied an opportunity to contest for the Kampala Lord Mayor seat on NUP ticket in the 2021 General Election after the party endorsed Kawempe North MP Latiff Ssebagala, who has since stepped down, as its flag bearer.
