Uganda out of CHAN, Defeated by Morocco 5-2

Defending African Nations Championship champions Morocco defeated Uganda 5-2 at the Reunification Stadium in Douala on Tuesday night to qualify for the quarter-finals, while sending the Cranes crashing out of the tournament. Uganda, who had talked up their chances of progress before the campaign, have now fallen at the first hurdle of the Chan on each of the five occasions they've qualified for the tournament. Uganda Cranes Arrives Safely in Nairobi, Set to Play South Sudan.

The Uganda Cranes delegation to Nairobi, Kenya safely arrived on Saturday afternoon. The contingent was welcomed by the advance party head Paul Mukatabala at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport after a successful flight aboard Uganda Airlines (UR202) from Entebbe International Airport. Calvary Football Club from the West Nile region earned sporting promotion to the StarTimes FUFA Big League for the 2020-21 season. Former Captain Simeon Masaba Appointed as an Assistant Coach by URA FC.

Kitara Football Club got promoted to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League for the season 2020-21. This followed a well worked out 1-0 win against Kiboga Young during the final of the promotional play-offs played on Wednesday, 21st October 2020.
