The Uganda National U17 Women Football team has today embarked on field preparations for the final round the FIFA U17 Women World 2021 Qualifiers against Cameroon. The team under the stewardship of coaches Hadijja Namuyanja, Olive Mbekeka (fitness) and James Magala (goalkeeper) conducted double sessions; in the morning and evening at the StarTimes stadium, Lugogo. Uganda is set to host the first of the two legged fixture on October 31st with the return leg due in mid-November in Cameroon.  A 25 man Uganda Cranes contingent including officials safely arrived in Dubai in the wee hours of Thursday ahead of the training camp. The contingent left Entebbe international Airport on Wednesday at 10:30pm aboard fly Dubai non-stop flight and touched down at the Dubai International Airport at 3:25am. Upon arrival at the airport, they all understand went mandatory Covid 19 tests before they were driven to JA Ocean view hotel in Dubai, Jumeirah street. Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has released the 2020 TOTAL African Nations Championship (CHAN) championship dates. Uganda Cranes opens up against Rwanda on 18th January 2021 at the Stade de Unification in Douala in a group C duel.
