Over 1,000 people in Mubende, Kyegegwa and Mityana got their share of the gifts that ForteBet usually gives out. ForteBet clients in the above branches witnessed this memorable weekend and won themselves phones, European club jerseys, T-shirts, caps, pens and wristbands. The gifts were handed over to the lucky punters by ForteBet brand ambassador, Alex Muhangi together with John Nanyumba, the company’s media manager. “I have always thought it was a lie that ForteBet gives out these gifts because I had never witnessed it. Today, i'm not only a witness, but also a phone winner,” Isa Mambule, the phone winner at Mubende main centre said after receiving his phone. That wasn’t all, ForteBet still donated to bodaboda cyclists, reflector jackets to riders.

MTN Uganda, in collaboration with various women-led businesses, hosted a successful Women’s Edition of the March Monthly Tee, dedicated to promoting female participation in golf and supporting women entrepreneurs. The event, held on Saturday 23rd March 2024 at the Entebbe Golf Club, marked a significant milestone in MTN’s ongoing efforts to encourage diversity and inclusion in sports and business. As part of MTN Uganda’s commitment to increasing the number of female golfers, the company launched the MTN Women’s Golfers Program from March to June 2023.
