Nantaba Forged A-Level Papers, Kalangwa’s Daughter.

The High Court in Mukono, on Tuesday commenced the hearing of petitions filed against various elected members of parliament in Mukono and Kayunga districts. Among the members of parliament en who were dragged to court include, Mukono North's Fred Kayondo (DP), Bbaale County's Charles Tebandeke (NUP) and Woman Member of parliament for Kayunga district Idah Erios Nantaba. Meanwhile, Nantaba has three different files against her, one from (NUP)'s Harriet Nakwedde who filed cases of election malpractice and other vote bribery. The NUP petitioner also accuses the electoral commission for being irregular and conducting elections in an unlawful manner. Former UPDF representative in parliament and 1986 bush war hero, Lt Gen Pecos Kutesa has died at the age of 65, the army has announced. Former UPDF representative in parliament and 1986 bush war hero, Lt Gen Pecos Kutesa has died at the age of 65, the army has announced. “UPDF fraternity regrets to announce the passing on of Lt Gen Pecos Kutesa which occurred today in India,” UPDF spokesperson, Brig Flavia Byekwaso said. Kutesa who earlier this month retired from the active service of the UPDF was last week admitted to a Nairobi hospital. Kutesa was one of the people who participated in the five year bush war that ushered the current NRM government led by President Museveni into power in 1986. Esther Anyakun, Uganda’s state minister for relief, disaster preparedness and refugees, says President Yoweri Museveni told her to make preparations to host 2,000 refugees from Afghanistan. She says Uganda acted at the request of the United States government. “They have requested us to host 2,000 refugees. We are expecting them to be brought in shifts of 500. So, UNHCR secured Imperial hotels in Entebbe as a transit center for them to first of all arrive and be screened,” she said. U.N.
