Calvary Football Club from the West Nile region earned sporting promotion to the StarTimes FUFA Big League for the 2020-21 season. Kassim Talib and Jamil Asega scored in the 2nd and 76th minutes respectively for Calvary over Northern Gateway at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru on Saturday, 31st October 2020 under closed doors. Talib’s goal was the fastest since the FUFA Promotional play-offs kicked off on 19th October 2020. Asega got the second with 14 minutes left on the clock, rounding goalkeeper Allan Otim to seal the victory.
