Breaking: NRM CEC Endorses Museveni As 2021 Presidential Candidate, Adopts Election By Lining Up

By Our Reporter Kampala, Uganda: The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Central Executive Committee (CEC) has endorsed incumbent Yoweri Kaguta Museveni as the flag bearer for the 2021 presidential election. The CEC, which sat at State House Entebbe, approved the much awaited party election Roadmap and adopted lining up behind the candidates as a mode of voting. This, however, is to be done in accordance with the COVID-19 health guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) issued under the Public Health Act. In the approved SOPs open rallies have been banned, with every voter to wear a face mask and polling officials to ensure a 2M distance rule.
