Patrick Karangwa, the founder of Kigali 360, a company that creates virtual tours of some of Rwanda's most impressive sights, has pumped life into Rwanda’s tourism sector by using technology. The government said that a significant drop in the number of coronavirus infections led to closure of the treatment centres across the country. On Friday, Health Minister Ummy Mwalimu, said there are now only 11 centres, including private health centres that are open. The development comes at a time when government  is finalizing plans of reopening Entebbe International Airport, which was closed to all passenger flights in March this year, as a result of the COVID-19 lockdown. Before the lockdown, Entebbe airport could handle between 90 to 120 flights daily.
