Assistant Inspector General Of Police (AIGP) Asan Kasingye has spoken out about his health condition and how he is battling the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
AIGP Kasingye was taken into quarantine last week after he tested positive for COVID-19 and Ministry of Health officials are monitoring all his contacts.
However, Kasingye has kept strong despite his battle with the deadly virus and he keeps updating all his followers on twitter about his affliction.
On Tuesday morning he tweeted a message in which he revealed all about his battle with COVID-19 and how he is determined to fight it to the end.
“Body is weak & in pain, but the soul is strong. I love Y’all. Take
@MinofHealthUG guidelines seriously esp the Mask. Life is precious. Ur family needs u. My son asks whether I will be ok & tells me how much they miss me. No one should joke, rejoice or politicize this pandemic,” Kasingye tweeted.
He also urged all Ugandans to ensure they stay safe by practicing the Standard Health Procedures (SOPs) provided by the Ministry of Health and the National COVID-19 Task Force.
