Fear As Uganda’s COVID-19 Deaths Rise To 12

Untold fear is mounting in the country as Coronavirus (COVID-19) deaths are increasing and according to the Ministry of Health the country has so far registered 12 deaths.

According to the Ministry of the Health the latest victim is a 65-year-old male, a resident of Kampala.

He was admitted in Nsambya hospital and later transferred to China-Uganda Friendship hospital after developing signs and symptoms consistent with COVID-19.

Samples from the deceased which were taken by Ministry of Health Officials for testing at Uganda Virus Institute tested positive of COVID-19.

The Ministry also revealed that from COVID-19 tests done on 13 August, 2020 confirmed  32 new cases. The cumulative confirmed cases of Ugandans is now 1,385, while the total recoveries are 1,142.
