Col. Nakalema Intervenes Nabagereka Land Disputes

At least 90 illegal residents have taken over 47 acres of land owned by Buganda Kingdom queen Sylvia Nagginda’s foundation- the Nabagereka Development foundation (NDF) in Wakiso. And the NDF has reported the theft of their land to the head of the State House Anti-Corruption unit (SHACU) headed by Col. Edith Nakalema who has initiated a multi stakeholder engagement to look into the matter. NDF’s land is Sisa and Mpuuga both registered as Busiro Block 495 Plot 69 at Buswa Sisa with a 22 acre size and Busiro Block 274 Plot 225 at Mpuuga measuring 25 acres. Col Nakalema with a team of other stakeholders visited the Nabagereka at Bulange Mengo where they shared critical information about the land grab. Bishop Paul Ssemogerere Appointed New Archbishop Of Kampala Pope Francis VI has appointed Bishop Dr. Paul Ssemogere as the new Archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese. Bishop Ssemogerere, 64, has been serving as the administrator of the Archdiocese since the death of Archbishop Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga who passed away in April this year. Previously, before his consecration as Bishop of Kasana-Luwero, he was the parish priest of Christ the King church in Kampala. Paul Ssemogerere born 30 June 1956 is a Roman Catholic prelate who is the Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kasana-Luweero, where the late Lwanga also served as Bishop before he came to Kampala. Petitions CJ Owiny over alleged Supreme Court bias in Sh120bn DTB Fraud Case .City Businessman Hamis Kiggundu alias Ham has petitioned the Chief Justice of Uganda’s Judiciary Alfonse Owiny-Dollo to intervene in his scandal with Diamond Trust Bank after the Supreme court allegedly expressed bias in hearing and delivering the judgement.
