Armed anti-riot police have Tuesday morning heavily deployed at the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) offices in Najjanankumbi and barred all party members from accessing the premises, of party president Patrick Amuriat Oboi’s presidential nomination.
News coming indicates that FDC spokesperson Ibrahim Semujju Nganda has also been arrested and taken to a yet to be identified detention centre, although it is not yet clear what charges he faces.

Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) office in Kasese District has closed the
nomination window for three Members of Parliament (MPs).
three MPs include Winnie Kiiza, Robert Centenary and Jackson Katika.

sort out their issues with the party office.
Robert Centenary and Winnie Kiiza, Maate says “The two have allegiance issues
with the Party and that they only picked forms of interest to participate in
the party primaries but haven't returned them to the party office.”

The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has rolled a programme for celebration of the Party's 15th Anniversary across the country.
While commenting about the programme that will be covering different parts of the country on a given day, Edward Assimwe Councillor, a staunch FDC supporter wrote thus on Facebook;
