By Elite News Reporter The Uganda Police have come under fire after being accused of allegedly raiding St. Augustine Church at Makerere University, in a bid to cover up the murder of Emmanuel Tegu, a third year Veterinary student that was reportedly clobbered to death by Local Defence Unit Militia. Elite News website reported how Tegu had died shortly after being dumped at Mulago Referral Hospital by a police patrol truck. By Keefa Nuwahereza The Uganda Police have finally spoken out about Emmanuel Tegu, a Makerere University Veterinary Medicine student, who died last week under mysterious circumstances. Tegu was rushed to Mulago Referral Hospital in critical condition after allegedly being clobbered while at Makerere University. Although rumours had been circulating that Tegu had been beaten by LDUs while at Makerere University, the police said that he had been beaten by a mob.
