Daudi Mugema seeks Bobi Wine’s help for cancer treatment

Former Kream Production band singer Daudi Mugeme is critically ill as he is battling stage one cancer that has failed to heal since 2018.
He narrates that his health troubles started the day he was arrested along with his colleague Producer Jonah at their studios in Makindye and got detained at Jinja Road Police Station before he was moved to Kireka where he was tortured.
Daudi Mugema explains that he faced an arrest because of his song titled “Wuumula” which he used to perform at Dr. Kizza Besigye’s 2016 general political campaigns.
He notes that he and the late Adam Mulwana used to be the main acts in Dr. Kizza Besigye’s political campaigns until the election time elapsed.

However, life turned out to be hard on him when he was detained at Kireka, Daudi Mugema explains that he was tortured in different ways including being asked to soak his legs in a basin that contained substances that led him to develop cancer.
He has over the years tried to seek medication but all the treatment he has gotten has made no difference to his life since the situation just continues to worsen each day that goes by.
Before I was imprisoned, I had no problem with my health; it was because of the torture that I developed all these health complications.

He is thankful to artists including Eddy Kenzo, David Lutalo, Lule Pakalast, Dr. Kwefulukuta, and some other people who have helped him during the difficult time he is undergoing.
Daudi Mugema has requested the National Unity Platform President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine to come to his rescue with financial assistance so that he can get improved medication perhaps from a different country with better health services.
He asked Bobi Wine to at least post him on his social media handles and help request public assistance since he is known globally.
I request Bobi Wine to come and help me. I faced health complications due to my desire for change and if he shares my situation on his platforms, asking Uganda to assist me, they might offer their help.
