Queen Elizabeth Sends Museveni Hearty Independence Day Message

Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II of England has sent a congratulatory message to President Yoweri
Kaguta Museveni upon the marking of Uganda’s 58th Independence Anniversary.
The
Queen’s hearty message, which was shared on all social media platforms, reads thus;
"It
gives me great pleasure to send Your Excellency my warmest greetings on the
celebration of your National Day, together with my best wishes for the people
of Uganda in the coming year."
In
his message to all Ugandans, President Museveni tweeted thus; “This day is a
good one to remember who we are and how we got here. Uganda’s independence was
bought with the blood of our patriots. Therefore, nobody will be allowed to
