
COVID-19 Deaths Shoot To 46, Cases Of Infection Now At 4,101

The number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) related deaths in
Uganda has risen to 46 after the Ministry of Health registered two new deaths
on Tuesday.
According to information from the Ministry, results of
COVID-19 tests done on 08 September 2020 confirmed 201 new cases. This brings
the cumulative confirmed cases of Ugandans to 4,101 and 1,876 recoveries.
The breakdown of the 201 news cases is as follows;
Contacts and alerts (198): Kitgum (80), Kampala (38),
Moroto (23), Gulu (10), Amuru (8), Wakiso (6), Kikuube (4), Zombo (4), Gulu
(3), Amolatar (2), Buikwe (2), Butebo (2), Lamwo (2), Adjumani (1), Arua (1),
Kasese (1), Koboko (1), Mukono (1), Butaleja (1) and Nakaseke (1).
