
NRA Bush War Hero Brig. Bell Breathes His Last

Grief has
engulfed the Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) and all security officers
following the untimely demise of senior National Resistance Army (NRA) bush-war
hero Brig. Jackson Bell Tushabe,61, who passed away on Tuesday morning, at
Nakasero Hospital, Kampala.
It is not
yet clear what he succumbed to but he had been recently hospitalized and some
family sources reveal that he had been battling cancer for a long time.

Bell, who
participated in the five-year bush war that ushered President Yoweri Museveni
and National Resistance Movement (NRM) to power in 1986, previously served as
UPDF 4th Division commander.
