By Our Reporter

Songbird Sheebah Karungi, who recently turned 31 years old, has  assured all her fans and admirers to stop putting on her pressure to produce a child or children.

Sheebah, who released her ‘Samali’ album this year, revealed this on Wednesday during the celebration of her 31st birthday, which she held at the Red Terrace, a city night spot.

“I want to tell all people out there who are  constantly asking me when I will produce to please stop. I am not yet ready to produce so stop putting me on pressure,” Sheebah said during an interview.

She added that “Right now I am concentrating on business. I’m not God. If God decides in future that I am to have a child I shall but right now, as a musician I want to change people’s lives. It seems you people are used to seeing girls aged 15 years getting married and producing at 17, I refused to accept that. One of my relatives did it but for me I refused. I will produce at the right time.”

Sheebah’s reaction came after the singer being bombarded by several questions from thousands of her fans who keep asking when she will get married or produce a child because time is not waiting for her and she is nearing menopause.
