The police in Nwoya district are probing the sudden death of Charles Ochakacon, the Division Prisons Commander attached to Amuru and Nwoya districts.
The 54-year-old officer reportedly collapsed and died moments later on Thursday evening at Continental bar and lodge in Purongo town council, Nwoya district.
Cosmas Adyebo, the manager of Continental bar and lodge in a report to the police noted that the deceased had booked a room for two days after arriving on Wednesday.

Mudong says the body has been taken to Anaka General Hospital morgue for postmortem to ascertain the exact cause of his death.
He notes that the police have arrested and detained the girlfriend identified as Flavia Adongo at Nwoya Central Police station for interrogation.
