Police in Kampala has cordoned off and started investigations into circumstances under which a moneylender of Indian decent was gunned down along Parliamentary Avenue on Friday afternoon.
It is alleged that an assassin reportedly clad in a police attire at Yako bank on Parliamentary Avenue attacked the unknown Indian opened fire and killed one of the employees, before fleeing.
However, details of the incident remain sketchy until an official police statement is released.
Police have since cordoned off the scene as investigations commence.
Police are yet to give an official communication on the matter.
