Unidentified woman killed in Bushenyi.

A yet to be identified woman around 20 years old has been allegedly murdered in Bushenyi district.
The incident happened in Ryamirunga cell along Ishaka – Kasese highway and was reported to Mashonga Police post on Sunday 11th June by Tware Ngongoki, LCI Ryamirunga cell, Mashonga ward in Kyamuhunga.
The body of the deceased was found lying along the road covered with sacks both the head and legs, with no open injuries but there were used gloves and an old sponge mat at the crime scene.
Our reporter spoke to the Greater Bushenyi Police spokesperson SP Martial Tumusiime who confirmed the incident stressing that the crime scene had already been visited by a team of detectives, Soco, and canine personnel.
SP Tumusiime revealed that canine (sniffer dog) was placed at the scene and it tracked up to the distance of 5 kilometres in Karinju Forest up to Karinju saw mill camp that is guarded by UPDF, the dog went direct to the UPDF tent for UPDF officer identified as Brian who was not found in the camp.
The body was shown to community members who failed to identify it and then taken to Kitagata hospital mortuary pending Postmortem.
