Rakai Hospital Closed Down After Surgeon Tests Positive For COVID-19

The
Ministry of Health has decided to temporarily close down Rakai Hospital after
one of the surgeons tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19).
According
to our sources, the surgeon (names withheld on request) tested positive for
COVID-19 following tests conducted by the Ministry of Health on Sunday
September 20th,2020.
Immediately
after receiving results of the tests, we have established that Ministry officials
went to Rakai Hospital and took the surgeon into mandatory quarantine, plus all
his colleagues with whom he was working in the hospital’s theatre, before they announced
a temporary closure of the health facility.
The
Ministry officials have since embarked on a hunt for all his contacts and
alerts such that they can be taken into quarantine.
