Breaking: Gen. Kale Kayihura’s Mother Breathes Her Last

The family
of former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Gen. Kale Kayihura is engulfed with
grief following the demise of his mother, who passed way on Thursday morning.
Catherine
Tibemanya Mukarwano, who died aged 91 years, old, hailed from Kisoro District
and was sister to the late Justice Joseph Mulenga.
She was wife
of late John Kalekezi, a senior police officer and vocal pan Africanist, who
died in a plane crash in Kiev in 1960.
A family member told this website that Catherine Tibemanya Mukarwano passed away Thursday morning, although the cause of her death was yet to be revealed.
According to
the family source, tentative funeral arrangements indicate that she will be
laid to rest on Saturday in Kisoro District.
