The Commander in Chief
(CIC) of the Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) has fired Brig. Gen. Richard Karemire from the position
of UPDF Spokesperson, replacing him with
Brig. Gen. Flavia Byekwaso.

female UPDF spokesperson, is taking over office next week after a official
handover by Brig. Gen. Karemire,
