President M7 to address the nation on terrorism tomorrow.

Uganda’s President Museveni will deliver a national address on terrorism tomorrow.
The State House said the president’s address will touch on “security and other matters of national importance.”
It added: “The address will start at 8 p.m. and will be aired live on all TV and radio stations.”
The Al Shabaab elements recently attacked a UPDF military base, where 54 Ugandan soldiers were killed.
The president is also expected to provide a progress report on the UPDF’s joint operations with the DRC in the war against the terror group, ADF.
The United Kingdom on July 2 warned of possible terrorist attacks in Uganda.
“Terrorists are very likely to try to carry out attacks in Uganda,” said the UK’s Foreign Office, adding, “Attacks could be indiscriminate or against foreign nationals or places frequented by foreign nationals.”
The UK did not provide evidence to back up its claims.
Ugandan security services said they had raised their level of alertness to prevent possible attacks by militants operating the region.
Such warnings affect Uganda’s tourism sector and scare away potential investors.
