Nansana based Worship House Church lead Pastor Wilson Bugembe took over the mantle to put a smile on struggling singer Gerald Muwonge a.k.a Clever J’s face by gifting him with shs 2.7 million over the weekend.
This was during the Sunday Church service that was attended by the ‘Manzi Wanani’ singer at the Worship House Church as he gears up for his forthcoming music concert.
Clever J went home financially and spiritually contented as he was gifted with cash believed to be close to Shs 2.7m after the congregation solicited following a request by Pastor Bugembe who had announced that he was going to give him Shs 1m cash.
The father of two shared a story about how he used to practice black charm back in the day and that when he quit, life became totally difficult to live.
Upon giving him the money, Pastor Bugembe prayed for Clever J wishing him well in his family, and asked God to give him favor so that his wife could return to his home.
Clever J is moving door to door while seeking for revelers support for his maiden concert on the 4th of August at Lugogo Cricket Oval organized by events promoter Bajjo Alfonso.
