The Minister of State for Youth and Children Affairs, Hon. Nyirabashitsi Sarah Mateke, is leading the Uganda delegation at the YouthConnekt Africa Summit taking place in Accra, Ghana. The event running between 20th and 22nd October, 2021 has brought together Ghanaian and Ugandan entrepreneurs and innovators, and provides an excellent opportunity to innovators to share experiences, draw inspiration, identify areas of potential collaboration, and identify concrete business opportunities within the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). The 20 innovators from both Ghana and Uganda are matched under the categories of; innovation and technology, Agribusiness, manufacturing and Waste Management among others. The event is sponsored by UNDP.
