Haji Muhamood Mirundi, the father of Kampala Lord Mayor and FDC Deputy President Erias Lukwago, passed on.
“My beloved Father and mentor, Hajji Muhamood Mirundi, passed on. Inna lillahi wa inna illaihi raji’oon. Fare thee well Taata. Till we meet, weraba Taata wange omulungi,” said Lukwago in a post on his social media.
The burial is taking place today at 2:00pm in Kabungo village, Kalungu District.
