Full petition to the First Lady
“The first lady and
Minister of Education
Hon. Janet Museveni.
ATT;
Your Ministry is burning out!
Dei shariffa reported a case “LUWERO CPS. SD Ref: 54/03/11/2023
Offence: Forgery and uttering false documents.
Suspects: ogwal Oscar and others Racheal $ Ritah” on 3/11/23 to Luwero police alleging issuance and uttering of forged certificate by luwero nursing school and St Denis paramedical school both operating in luwero town council by a NUP member of Parliament Denis Sekabira.
Police acted promptly and arrested 2 administrators Racheal and Ritah who were eventually given bond on surety of the dishonourable MP Katikamu North constituency One Ssekabira Denis.
As the Chairperson NRM for Luwero District and a concerned senior Citizen of Luwero, I eventually interacted with Dei and other students, Parents and this is what they had to say,
The Proprietor and management recruit’s students from all over the country, like Dei was from West Nile city of Arua, Dorothy was a S4 drop out in Luwero and Eva was from Wobulenzi Town.
Students are told not to mind if they failed science subjects at senior 4.
They are told our institution works with UNEB and we arrange special sitting for the subjects we find you didn’t do well at a cost of 1,000,000 million shillings per paper you intend to make good.
This money is paid in cash and registration of 300,000= which are handled by the dishonorable MP Ssekabira and a one Ogwal the Academic registrar who starts the work of organizing for the new certificates.
I have personally seen the new UNEB certificates manufactured by the dishonorable Sekabira’s group.
For Dei’s case, she paid all the money, her real certificates which bare an F9 in chemistry and an F9 in physics was worked on and she received a new compliant certificate bearing C5 in each of the above and a total of 34 aggregates instead of 51 she had in the genuine results!
On inquiry I have come to a conclusion all nurses and laboratory technicians trained at this institute are unqualified students but these are being helped by Luwero Hospital and Nakaseke Hospital where they are taken for practice and this gives the fake school the credibility it requires to perpetuate its fraud in health training.
I interacted with 5 students who confirmed to me that they all failed but the school issued them new certificates on admission.
This has been going on for the last 10 years and you can imagine the volume of fake, irregular and incompetent health workers in the system from this one institute and what’s happening in others elsewhere?
Hon. Minister, a forensic investigation should be carried out to ascertain this group because they are not only cheating parents, wasting student’s time but also burying the whole health system, education standards and credibility under the rocks.
Your quick response will do us a lot of good.
Regards
Ndawula Ronald
