Eid Al Fitr 2023 confirmed to be cerebrated this Friday.

Eid Al Fitr 2023 is expected to fall on Friday, April 21 in Bahrain, according to a calendar from the country’s Ministry of Justice, Religious Affairs, and Waqf.
The calendar shows that Ramadan this year is expected to be 29 days long. The exact day of Eid Al Fitr will be confirmed after the moon sighting.
Eid Al-Fitr is a religious holiday celebrated by Muslim communities worldwide. The day marks the end of the month-long fasting in Ramadan.
As the Islamic calendar is lunar, the day of Eid Al Fitr varies depending on the observation of the moon in each country and is only confirmed after the moon sighting the day before.
Muslims celebrate the day with a special Eid prayer performed in local mosques in the early morning. As mosques cannot accommodate the influx of worshippers, the prayer is most often held in the open air. The prayer is followed by a religious sermon called “Khotba.”
Over the years, Eid Al Fitr gained cultural significance and is now celebrated with food and clothes that are culture-specific to each country.
