Events promoter and president of Promoters in the known Uganda National Promoters Association (UNPA) Abbey Musinguzi aka Abitex has refused to resign.
He was begged to step down from his position after he violated one of their rules.
That was after organizing Alien Skin’s Sitya Danger Concert on the same date as Pallaso’s concert which was organized by his deputy Balaam Barugahala.
After the concert, promoters sat down and asked Abitex to leave the presidential seat so that they can get a competent person.
Although the official statement for dethroning Abitex was released, he has told the media that he is going nowhere.
According to him, he is still the president of promoters not until he decides for himself that he is finally going to leave it.
“I am still the president of the Promoters Association until I choose not to be.” – Abitex said.
