
Museveni Appoints Amin To Deputise New ISO Boss Lt.Col. Oluka

President Yoweri
Kaguta Museveni has raised eyebrows among security organisations after he
appointed Taban Amin, son of former President Iddi Amin, as Deputy Director
General of the Internal Security Organisation (ISO).
Following the
unexpected appointment, Taban, who is a renowned National Resistance Movement
(NRM) cadre, will depute the newly appointed ISO Director General Lt. Col. Charles Oluka, who replaced Col. Frank Kaka Bagyenda.
Oluka and Amin’s appointments were confirmed by the
Uganda Peoples Defences (UPDF) Spokesperson Brig. Gen. Flavia Byekwaso, who
tweeted Friday night thus; “The public is hereby informed that the new Director
