A 22 year old A level vacist was found dead in a lodge in Rukungiri district. Police has kicked off investigations to understand the circumstances around this tragedy.
The deceased is Davis Turyatunga, resident of Binyena village in Kisizi parish Nyarushanje sub county, who was found dead from Ensinikweri Moses’s bar in the lodge room according to ASP Elly Maate the Kigezi Region Police spokesperson.
Maate told the press that on 12th Feb 2023 at about 11Pm at Binyena village, Twinamatsiko Sustino 20, a student in ‘O’ level vacation moved with the deceased to an unknown place according to the deceased’s mother Rosemary Kyomuhendo.
Kyomuhendo adds that they later appeared at the mentioned bar at Kisizi upper trading center where they allegedly asked to be served drinks in a private room lodge section.

Kyomuhendo adds that they later appeared at the mentioned bar at Kisizi upper trading center where they allegedly asked to be served drinks in a private room lodge section.
It’s further alleged that at around 4Pm, Twinamatsiko allegedly informed the bar attendants that his colleague now the deceased was very drunk and unable to move by himself, hence left him deep asleep.
Maate adds that surprisingly, Turyatunga was found dead by bar attendants in the morning of 13th February 2023 at about 100am when they checked on him after he failed to open.
