Nansana MP Aspirant Tycoon Katumwa Launches National Ludo Super League

Nansana Municipality Member of Parliament Aspirant David Steel Katumwa on Sunday officially launched the Uganda National Ludo Super League, during a function that was held at Yesu Amala zone, in Nansana town.

Tycoon Katumwa, of Katumwa Sports Centre outlets in Kampala, who is vying for the Nansana MP seat,  was flanked at the function by the National Ludo Federation President Hajji Hussein Kalule.

The National Ludo Super League 2020 attracted 16 teams  from various districts in the country for who  competed for various prizes  like medals, trophies, jerseys, among others.

Some of the teams that participated included;
Buloba Ludo Club Vs KamwokyaNakawa Vs  NtindaKings Ludo Club Vs  Kawanda
Kazo Hill Ludo Club Vs The  Hommies
Galaxy Ludo Club Vs Wakiso..
Kireka Kisansa Vs Nansana
Basajja Bayiiya Vs Dembe Vegas

While addressing the teams that participated, Katumwa told  the players that “Ludo is a very good game for the brain because it keeps your mind alert and thinking all the time.  Unlike other games which exercise the body, Ludo is a game that exercises the brain.”

He added that “Ludo is a game that teaches you in business and in life that no matter how many times you fall in life you can always rise up and move if you don’t accept failure. Your opponent can hit all your buttons and put them back home but you can still play all your pieces until you win. That’s the lesson from Ludo game.”

He also revealed that through working together with Uganda Ludo Federation boss Hajji Kalule and other managers for the game in, together they have taken the Ludo game in Uganda to another level and currently the title hers are Kings Ludo Club.

Hajji Kalule noted that the national Ludo Team was meant to travel to Nepal to  participate in the International Ludo championship 2020 but the games were postponed due to the Corona virus outbreak.
