UCU students prefer  both practical and theory learning.

UCU students prefer  both practical and theory learning.

Education, FEATURED, Latest News, NEWS
UCU is on track to realize thier theme by teaching theory accompanied by practical skills . Speaking to some students at UCU about what they think about having a more practical form of learning to theorize, this is what they had to say. Our main reason for coming here is to get skills and other values on how to make the church more sound. So, of course, we need the practical bit. Theory helps us learn how to talk to people and the vocabulary to use. Theory shapes and prepares us for the world we will encounter after completing this course, but we need practical projects to learn how to work with Christians in church. , we need a blend of the two and not theory alone. I think there should be a balance between practical and theoretical because, then, we will be more proactive in what we do. ...

Is the problem of Uganda a lack of scientists or a lack of good leadership?

Education, FEATURED, Latest News, NEWS, Politics
By Muhimbise George As usual, President Museveni has hidden his head in the sand like an ostrich and assumed that he has sorted the teachers’ crisis as he waits for another crisis to emerge. Not so long, he was in Teso, Kalamoja, Lango and Acholi dealing with cattle rustling. It was so intense that for the first time in history he delegated Prime Minister Nabanja to preside over the Hero’s Day celebrations. Not very long, he was sorting the murders in greater Masaka to mention but a few. In all these crises, Museveni has been successful because he has applied militarism just like he did for the locusts and floating islands, his army did a good job. Ours is a President of crisis management because he has ruined the country and handed it over to the dogs! Of course the military will not s...
