Four Rwandan students of Kampala International University (KIU) were on Friday arrested by armed plain clothed security operatives, who forced them to miss their exams.
The revelation was made by the Dean of Students Jovia Karwana in a letter addressed to the Vice Chancellor Deputy Vice Chance, Administration and the entire University.
The letter dated November 28, 2019, states thus;ARREST OF FOUR KAMPALA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY STUDENTSI bring to your attention that Namanya Emmanuel, Rwamwogo Joram, Kagaara Living, Mugisha Andrew were arrested on November 26, 2019 at night and November 27, 2019 in the morning.They have missed some papers.
The office is following up to know the cause of arrest and which police station they are in.However, the police are yet to issue a statement about the arrest of these students nor their whereabouts.
