The Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB) has reported a significant 19% improvement in overall performance in the November/December 2023 examinations compared to the same period in 2022. This announcement was made by UBTEB’s Executive Secretary, Onesmus Oyesigye, during the release of the November/December 2023 results. Out of the 4344 candidates who took the examinations, an impressive 4059 candidates successfully demonstrated proficiency in their respective trades. Breaking down the results by gender, 89.5% of the 832 female candidates acquired all competencies, while 94.4% of the 3512 male candidates achieved the same feat.
