The Luwero town council chairperson mr. Buwembo Chris Jones reported Katikamu North MP Denis Sekabira at Luwero police on case ref. 41-6-11-23. He was allegedly assaulted Sekabira himself alongside a group of goons. The incident occurred on 30th/10/2023 in public as the people of Bulemeezi where ushering in the Buganda Masaza Cup trophy won by Bulemeezi, that's when Sekabira and his goons beat him to pulp. Three children were yesterday Friday crushed to death by a wall that collapsed on them during the morning heavy downpour. The incident that happened at Nakigalala village Kajjansi town council, in Wakiso district killed Daniel Sekatawa Daniel aged 3, Grace Senabulya aged 18 months, and 2-month-old Hel Mary. Gorreti Nakyanz, their mother said it was around 4 am when the wall suddenly collapsed on the children during a heavy downpour. “We’re in the house together with our four children and their father was sleeping while the heavy rain poured. There is panic among parents and leaders after Wobulenzi Public Primary School in Luwero district was put on sale over failure to repay a loan. In 2019, Richard Mukasa former headteacher with the approval of the office of Luwero Chief Administrative Officer acquired a loan of 100 million Shillings from Equity Bank, Luwero branch. Mukasa mortgaged the land title of the government school to acquire the loan to buy a plot and construct staff houses. The school has 2, 300 pupils under Universal Primary Education and it has the biggest population of learners in the district.
