Bebe Cool has expressed his bitterness against the Katikiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga following the comments he made against the late Jajja Iculi a.k.a Isma Olexass. Early this week, Mayiga described the fallen blogger as someone who spoke before thinking and he never stopped to think about the outcomes of his words. “Isma was talking too much. A boy of 15 kills himself after being denied food over shs1,000 debt.

Police in Butaleja District in eastern Uganda are investigating circumstances under which a teenage boy reportedly committed suicide after he was denied food. Stephen Dundo,15, a resident of Namatala Village, Kachonga Sub County in Butaleja District is said to have ingested poisonous substances on Sunday after he was reportedly denied food by his sister. “The deceased went to his sister’s restaurant to eat lunch but she declined to serve him over Shs1,000 debt. He then returned to his father who gave him Shs1, 000 to clear the old debt. After clearing the old debt, his sister refused to serve him on credit again,” Bukedi regional Police Spokesperson, Moses Mugwe said. Sad news reaching our desk indicates that the Bishop Emeritus of North Mbale Diocese, Rt. Rev Daniel Othniel Wonasolo Gimadu is dead. It is alleged that he died at Mukono Church of Uganda Hospital where he had spent a week at around 11 pm on Wednesday. Bishop Gimadu served as the Bishop of the North Mbale Diocese from 2006 to 2014. He was consecrated on 10th December 2006 and served until 16th November 2014. Reliable sources have it that the bishop succumbed to pneumonia. North Mbale Diocese is one of 37 Dioceses that form the Province of Church of Uganda. This is a developing story, we shall keep you posted.

Detectives are investigating an incident in which a clerk of Migori High Court, Kenya and her boda boda rider were shot dead by a lone gunman. Phoebe Auma, 50, was being ferried to the court by the rider when they were attacked, witnesses and police said. The incident shows seemingly the gunman knew about the woman’s movements. Police believe she was targeted probably because of her work. The gunman was wearing a facemask at the time of the attack. According to witnesses, the gunman accosted Auma and her rider when they slowed down from Gogo village to join the busy Kisii-Migori highway. Residents of Kitengela town, Kenya were treated to real vampire like movie scenes when a 24 year old Olivia Kasserran butchered her two year old daughter. Traffic along the Kampala-Masaka highway has been paralysed after water levels at Katonga River rose, making it hard for motorists and pedestrians to cross. The suspect Yoweri Mugaya stabbed an unidentified woman at his residence in Bulyampande village, Butansi sub-county, Kamuli district on Tuesday morning.
