Following the circulation of images and a video alleging that a woman had locked up her boyfriend and her cousin sister in her apartment bedroom before setting it on fire, Ugandans on social media over the weekend were put into a depressing mood.
Arinda Patricia, 24, and a man only known as Kajumba, 27, were named as the two victims.
Arinda and Kajumba were allegedly invited to a ‘non-existent’ birthday party in Kawempe.
According to reports, Kaitesi reportedly sprinted out of the apartment and yelled out to his neighbors, saying the gas cooker had exploded.

In 1978, Robert Nesta "Bob Marley" had returned to his home town after touring and living in the U.K. He was explaining to the youths in the pic that he was Bob Marley and that this was the place that he grew up in. The youths didn't believe him, saying that he is not Bob Marley. that if he was famous, he would have never returned there, to the impoverished place.
It's a very nice pic. when you hear the context of the story, it makes you cry a bit. Seeing how someone, who has made it internationally famous, is returning humbly back to his home village. They said that the more money he made, the more he would give to the poor and fight for the poor. This is why this man remains an inspiration to so many!

Our brothers in the NRM, a by election in Serere has come, as you have always done, you may be tempted to use force to win that election.
But before you chose that path? Look at the quality of a parliamentarian you will have lost! Hon Alaso was in Parliament for three terms, at first representing Soroti & later Serere District. She was one of the best debaters in the national assembly, when she chaired the Public Accounts Committee, billions were saved through her efforts. Alaso is an experienced leader, an orator, a unifier & a God fearing person.
Our Parliament has many young people, many of them new faces, they need seniors like Hon Alaso to mentor them, to nurture them, to guide them and above all to bring that much needed voice of reason in our national assembly!
