Providing women and girls with equal rights will fuel sustainable economies and benefit societies and humanity at large, the Minister for Gender, Labour and Social Development, Hon. Amongi Betty Ongom has observed. She noted that equality is a fundamental human right and foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world. The Minister made the remarks while delivering a statement on Monday at the 66th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women underway at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
