At least one person died and several have been wounded in an explosion on a bus near Kampala, police said, two days after a deadly attack in the Ugandan capital claimed by ISIL (ISIS). Ugandan police spokesman Fred Enanga said bomb specialists were sent to Lungala following a deadly explosion in a bus belonging to Swift Safaris around 5pm on Monday. The Ugandan Police force issued a correction saying that one person had been killed in the attack, after Enanga said in a statement that two people had died. Islamic State claimed responsibility for a bomb attack that killed at least one person in Uganda's capital Kampala on Saturday night, the militant group said in a statement posted in an affiliated Telegram channel late on Sunday. The group said that some of its members detonated an explosive device in a bar where "members and spies of the Crusader Ugandan government were gathering" in Kampala. The bomb, packed with nails and shrapnel, targeted a pork restaurant on the outskirts of the capital, police said on Sunday.
